But now, we have phones heating up. Depending on which phone you have, what you are doing on it and where, you may feel the temperature rising inside the phone. In most cases, a little bit of heating up is normal, although depending how sensitive you are to such things you may hate it or ignore it.[br][br]All smartphones nowadays heat up, including the recently-launched Infinix Note 5/Stylus as you may have seen some reports. But just to help you figure out whether your phone is heating up abnormally or if it is all good, we tell you the reasons why your phone might be heating up.[br][br]Six reasons you don't have to worry about. But one you have to.[br][br] If your phone uses a moderately fast hardware -Snapdragon 615 processor,MediaTek p23 or higher .[br][br]your phone will heat up as you use it. There is no active cooling in phones. Even the vapour cooling advertised by Samsung for Galaxy S7 is just a passive copper heat-pipe. More powerful hardware is always going to generate more heat, although depending on the internal design, some phone may heat more. Internal temperature of around 45 to 50 degrees is normal for phones when you are using them.[br]The phone will heat up when you play games for over 10 to 15 minutes. This is because when you play games the processor and graphics chip have to work at their top speed or close to top speed. This generates more heat.[br]If you have the phone's screen set to very high brightness, it will heat up. This is also the reason why your phone will heat up when you have the camera on because camera app keeps the screen on and bumps up the brightness so that you have a nice and bright screen on which you can compose the image. This is also the reason why your heats up outdoors even when you are just checking email on it. Outside, when the sun is strong, the phone bumps up the brightness of the screen automatically. This heats up the phone.[br][br] When You are charging your phone. [br][br]A lot of power goes into the phone when you are charging it. This is particularly true for phones with turbo chargers and turbo charging just like d flash charge on the note 5/stylus All this energy going inside the phone raises the temperature of the battery, which in turn makes the phone hot.[br][br]If you are on the phone talking for long durations in summers when you are outside, it would make the device hot and your ear all sweaty. The ambient temperature is already high and the that combined with the body heat from ears can make the phone really hot.[br][br]You are in Delhi in summer. If you are in Delhi and your phone is heating up, don't worry. It is normal. The ambient temperature nowadays is often 40 degrees. Everything runs hot in Delhi's summer so it's no surprise that your phone too is heating up, especially if you have kept it on the dashboard of your car in direct sunlight.[br][br]This is the reason about which you have to worry. It is also possible that your phone is heating because of poor engineering. As we noted earlier, the hardware in modern phones is very powerful and the screens, which are extremely bright, tend to consume a lot of energy. All of this means more heat. A little bit of heating is normal. But there is a chance that something is wrong in the way phone has been manufactured.
