[br]I don't know of other andriod versions, but Oreo has given us the feature of having a customized do not disturb mode. This feature enable users set preferences as to how the dnd mode works to their own satisfaction. [br][br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br][br]Under sound menu in settings, we can see the "do not disturb preferences". When you click in it, functions like "priority only allows...", "Block visual disturbance", and "automatic rules" can be seen.[br][br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br][br][br][br][br]¶"Priority only" [br][br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br][br]The first function which is "priority only allows.." enables users to set circumstances that can override the dnd mode. [br]These circumstances include [br]✓"reminders": when toggled on, reminders that are set during the time which the phone will be on dnd mode will still be active and produce alerts.[br]✓ "events": when toggled on, events that are set during the time which the phone will be on dnd mode will still be active and produce alerts/reminders. [br]✓"alarms": this is already on by default, it enables all alarms set within the time of dnd mode to ring out and give alerts. [br]✓ "messages": [br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br]this allows messages to pop up and give alerts from either anyone, contacts, starred contacts, or from none of them, depends on which one you choose. [br]✓ "calls":[br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br] just like messages, calls can ring out in dnd mode from any contact, your contact, starred contacts or none of them), also depending on which you choose and... [br]✓ "repeat callers", this allows a call if the same person calls the second time within a 15 minutes period).[br][br][br][br]¶"Block visual disturbances"[br]This enables you to prevent notifications silenced by dnd from peeping or popping up on the screen when the screen is on, or to prevent notifications silenced by dnd from turning on the screen when it is off.[br][br]¶"Automatic rules"[br]This is the most useful of all, it lets you set a time frame during which your phone automatically switches to dnd mode. Three rules have been set already, although they can be modified, these are weekend ( based on the days of the weekend you pick and time frame, your device switches to dnd mode), weeknight( based on the days you pick, your device switches to dnd mode during the time frame set for the night of those days), and events( during events of any calendar, or that of a certain email account, depending on which you choose). [br][br]You can create yours by tapping the add(+) figure and delete by tapping the bin diagram.[br]Preferences of priority only, alarms only or total silence can also be made for each rule. Priority only makes use of the settings made in the priority only menu, alarms only ensures that only alarms can ring out during this period while total silence depicts complete silence during this period.[br]Also you can choose to let upcoming alarms after end time override the end time, i.e the dnd mode goes off at the alarms time instead of the end time set by you. [br][br]This is very useful for people who have places they go or periods during which their mobile phones are not expected to cause disturbances by ringing or making sounds of notifications or alerts, that they might forget to switch to dnd mode or even switch to dnd mode and forget to switch it off thereby causing them to miss valuable calls, reminders or messages, etc.
