When entering a password make sure no one is around. Ensure you use a password comprising of letters, numbers and special characters, also make sure that it is of at least 8 words or more. Make sure you do not enter same password in every site that you join.[br][br]So you have a Gmail id, do you know it has 2 Factor authentication? If yes than great. What is 2-factor authentication? It acts as second layer to your password. When you log in into your Gmail every time a code will be sent to your registered number, this code is required to complete the login process. Platforms like Facebook and WhatsApp has this feature.[br][br]When you visit any website and you are required to put any private details make sure it’s a https website and not http. If it is http, kindly close the website and never enter any details. As the information is not encrypted, hackers can easily steal your data.[br][br]We have lots of app downloaded on our phones. [br][br]Do you know that apps can be used to steal data? [br][br]This happens when you grant them all permissions. When you install any app and open it they asks for various permissions like manage phone calls, record audio and many more and you just click on allow button. Let’s say you download a calculator app, now it asks you to manage phone calls, record audio, manage photos, manage camera, etc and you just allowed it. Just think that why would a calculator need your call information it has nothing to do with it. So make sure what permissions are you giving. Avoid using apps such as theme apps, browser apps, antivirus app, battery saver apps, etc. This are the main apps through which the hackers target you.[br]
