Google Maps users will be able to copy and paste the address in the search tab of Google Maps while the the previously copied location could be found right above the Home and Work shortcuts.[br][br][br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br][br]Google Maps is one of the most used services from the tech giant and while the Google Maps navigation service has seen a lot of updates in recent months, a new report suggests that Google Maps has now added the ability to paste addresses from the clipboard to the search tab. While this might not sound a very big update for the users, the new option is expected to improve the overall user experience.[br][br]Whenever we travel to a new place, Google maps comes in handy to get the right directions since it offers the most relevant options the moment you start typing. That said, there are some locations which are not present in the Google Maps database and for that, we would need to copy the text from a messenger app or from a browser. However, earlier, Google Maps didn’t support this option and users needed to type the whole address in order to search the relevant location.[br][br]Now, with this new option, you will be able to copy and paste the address in the search tab of Google Maps. The option was first spotted by XDA-Developers, and if you’ve copied an address on your clipboard, Google Maps will suggest it to fill automatically in a search field. Moreover, the previously copied location could be found right above the Home and Work shortcuts, which means that you won’t have to tap multiple times to search for the particular location.[br][br]The report further added that the new Google Maps feature works only in cases when the last item copied on your clipboard is an address while it will be saved you a few seconds which further make the overall process easier for users. It should be noted that the new Google Maps feature is being rolled out as part of a server-side update and you might not be able to use this feature as of now.
