Remember that the phone be signed in with the same Google account.[br][br]-Google will immediately show the last seen location of your smartphone.[br][br]-After “Find my phone” has detected your Android smartphone, you can immediately ring the smartphone to locate it. Click on “Play sound” option. This rings your device at full volume for 5 minutes, even if it's set to silent or vibrate.[br][br]-However, if it’s stolen then ringing the phone is not a good idea. Instead you can either lock the phone remotely. Here is how to do it.[br][br]-Go to android.com/find and sign in to your Google Account.[br][br]-If you have more than one Android phone, click the lost device at the top of the screen.[br][br]-If your lost device has more than one user profile, sign in with a Google Account that's on the main profile.[br][br]-If your device can't be found, you'll see its last known location, if available.[br][br]- You can click “Enable lock & erase.” This will lock our device with your PIN, pattern, or password. If you don't have a lock, you can set one. To help someone return your device to you, you can add a message or phone number to the lock screen.[br][br]-If you choose “Erase” this will permanently delete all data on your device but might not delete SD cards. However, note that after you erase, Find My Device won't work on the device.[br][br]-The “Find my phone” works with active internet connection. Also, the smartphone needs to switched on. So, here are the best practices you must take to ensure that “Find my phone” works always.[br][br]-Be signed in to a Google Account.[br][br]-Be connected to mobile data or Wi-Fi.[br][br]-Be visible on Google Play.[br][br]-Have Location turned on.[br][br]-Have Find My Device turned on.
