标题: Huawei can now use Android again on its smartphones after Trump plans to remove ban
US President recently announced that he plans to lift off the trade ban with Huawei. With this arrangement, Huawei will be free to use Android again.[br][br][br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br]HIGHLIGHTS[br][br][ul][li]Huawei will be able to use Android again after the US lifts trade ban.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]The US implemented a trade ban on Huawei on the basis of threat to national security.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Huawei has already been working on its own Ark OS.[br][/li][/ul]Just a few months ago, Huawei was drawn into a major controversy after the US President Donald Trump announced a ban doing trade with the Chinese company. The US government implemented the ban after it stated threat to national security as the reason behind the ban. The world found Huawei at a major disadvantage without some of America's great contributions to the tech sector, including Google's Android OS and architecture designs. However, Trump is now considering to remove the ban and Huawei could breathe in peace.[br][br]At the G20 Summit is Osaka, Trump said the US government is planning to remove the ban on doing trade with Huawei after many US companies expressed interest in doing trade with the Chinese companies. This would mean that the three major tech giants - Google, Intel and Qualcomm, would be able to sell their products to the companies. Huawei's existing products have been largely dependent on these three firms.[br][br]However, what mostly got Huawei fans worried was the fact that it cannot use Android anymore. Android gives Huawei a great platform to design its EMUI interface that offers many customisation options. Without Android, many predicted that Huawei would struggle to sell phones as Android has a very large collection of apps and games, and consumers prefer to stick a platform that offers apps in large numbers.[br]However, a few days after the decision saw Huawei announce that it was working on its own operating system. Initially called the HongMeng OS and later rumoured to be called the Ark OS, Huawei planned to include support for Android apps and leaks even suggested the new OS was found to be 60 per cent faster than Android.[br][br]With the ban in place, existing Huawei and Honor customers were worried about what happens to their phones. Despite Huawei announcing Android updates for the high-end models, it got many worried about the longevity of the devices. However, with the ban slated to be lifted, Huawei can continue to deliver support for these phones in a systematic way.[br][br]Now, it remains to be seen whether Huawei would rely on Android completely or it will slowly move to its home-brewed Ark OS.[br][br]Thanks...{:16_21:}{:16_21:}{:16_21:}[br]
