[br] (, 下载次数: 0) [br]WiFi is a technology that uses radio waves to provide network connectivity. A WiFi connection is established using a wireless adapter to create hotspots areas near a wireless router that is connected to the network and allow users to access internet services. Once configured, WiFi provides wireless connectivity to your devices by emitting frequencies between 2.4GHz SGHz, based on the amount of data on the network. [br][br]The term Wi-Fi stands for Wireless Fidelity. Like mobile phones, a WiFi network makes use of radio waves to transmit information across a network. Two radio-wave frequencies can be used, depending on the amount of data being sent: 24 gigahertz and 5 gigahertz. [br][br]The two Wi-Fi frequencies are split into multiple channels to prevent high traffic and interference. You (the user) initiate the first step in the process. When you access the Internet on your device, it converts the information you have requested into binary code, the language of computers. Everything computers do is based on binary code, a series of 1 s and Os. [br][br]If you are using Wi-Fi, these 13 and Us translates into wave frequencies by the Wi-Fi chip embedded in your device. The frequencies travel across the radio channels mentioned earlier and received by the Wi-Fi router that your device connected. The router then converts the frequencies back into the binary code and translates the code into the Internet traffic that you requested, and the router receives that data through a hardwired Internet cable. [br][br]The process repeats itself until you have loaded anything that requires the Internet. All of this happens at an unbelievably fast rate; most routers operate at 54 Mbps (megabits per second), meaning that when such routers translate and transmit binary data, 54 million Ts and Us are taken in or sent out in a single second. [br][br]
