Google Maps Mobile Speed Camera and crash reporting now rolling out in India: Here's how it works

This is not another messaging service from Google but a new shortcut which allows users a new reporting feature for speed traps and various accidents.[br][br][br] [br][br]At the starting of this year, Google had rolled out a new feature where you could add speed limits in the navigation interface so as to help other motorists who are using Google Maps. Now it has also started showing two new features which are speed traps and accidents option as well. So this means reporting features for speed traps and accidents are now rolling out more widely.[br][br]Now a new icon has appeared in Maps and if it has appeared on your Maps app as well, do not stress. This is not another messaging service from Google but a new shortcut which allows users a new reporting feature for speed traps and various accidents. In simple terms, Google is now adding a new feature for you to take part in reporting accidents which they have spotted along their route, and also speed traps if any.[br][br][br] [br][br]The software giant has been testing these new reporting features for some time now which dates back to last year. Google had smoothed out its interface and now what we see is the final design and interface.[br][br]Google has not officially announced this feature yet and it is not known when will Google make this official with an announcement. As of now, the feature is available to a number of users and gradually users will start getting it as Google starts a broader rollout. The Android users who have it now have the feature enabled remotely.
