Google now lets you update your Chrome browser on Android without visiting the Play Store[br][br][br]Almost all of us prefer the idea of having a single platform for downloading and updating all our apps over opening every single app to download an update. Google, however, wants to do the latter at least for Chrome browser on Android.[br][br]Google's Chrome Canary version on Android recently added a new flag named Enable 'Google Play Inline Update Flow,' which if enabled doesn't require you to go to the Google Play Store to update your Chrome Canary app, you can do that in the app, much like how you update your Chrome browser on the desktop.[br][br]As per the description of the flag, "When this flag is set instead of taking the user to the Google Play Store when an update is available, the user is presented with an inline flow where they do not have to leave Chrome until the update is ready to install."[br][br]The new feature, obviously, is under testing phase and currently available to those using the Chrome Canary. If you are one of those, then you can enable the feature right now by following the below steps.[br][br]1. Ensure you're using latest Canary, visit chrome://flags[br][br]2. Find " Enable Google Play Inline Update Flow" flag[br]3. Select "Enabled" and restart the browser.[br][br]Now you need to sit back and wait for the update. Once a new update arrives, you will receive a notification in the browser's menu, taping on the notification will start downloading the update in the background.
