First spotted by Mspoweruser, Microsoft has tweeted, “We are beginning to train the machine learning based rollout process to update devices running the April 2018 Update, and earlier versions of Windows 10.”[br][br]This means that the Window 10 May 2019 update will happen automatically for a number of users still on the April 2018 update.[br][br]Of course, the May 2019 (version 1903) update can also be installed manually by checking for updates. With the Windows 10 May 2019 update, Microsoft is adding a number of new features and changing the way users get updates. Microsoft is finally letting users choose how and when they get the update. With 1903, users will be able to choose whether they want to download an update or not. Additionally, once the download begins, users will have the choice to pause the update if needed.[br][br]There’s just one condition when the update will be pushed without your permission and that’s when your current version of Windows 10 is nearing the end of support.[br][br]Source: https://www.digit.in/news/software/microsoft-is-using-ai-to-update-pcs-to-windows-10-may-2019-build-48699.html[br] |
