The production and broadcasting of a cricket match specifically requires the use of more than 30 cameras and 80 production personnel, including 7 [strong]ultra-motion cameras, Spider Cam, Stump Cam, Umpire Cam[/strong] etc.[br][br]These also include a wide variety of cameras - high-end cameras are placed beyond the boundary, with camera crews that are ready to zoom in and pick out the most exciting moments. There are also fixed cameras to watch the stumps, the pitch, and at some other locations in the stadium.[br][br]Another new technology in use is called real-time [strong]Snicko[/strong] - cricket fanatics would already know the details, but for the rest of people, Snicko is an audio-based technology that can be used to accurately detected if a batsman edged a ball. This can help the third umpire to make tough calls.[br][br][strong]Ultramotion cameras[/strong] - These are essentially high-speed cameras that allow you to shoot a slow-motion clip of objects moving very quickly without losing focus or clarity.[br]
[br][br][strong]Spidercam - [/strong]It is a system which enables film and television cameras to move both vertically and horizontally over a predetermined area, typically the playing field of a sporting event such as a cricket pitch.[br]
[br][strong]Stump Cam - [/strong]Often one or more of the stumps is hollow and contains a small television camera. This is aligned vertically, but can view through a small window on the side of the stump via a mirror. The so-called stump-cam gives a unique view of play for action replays, particularly when a batsman is bowled.[div]

[div][br][/div][div][strong]Umpire Cam - [/strong]A wireless HD camera fitted to the cap of Umpire during the match.[br]
[br][strong]Hawk-Eye - [/strong]It is used primarily by the majority of television networks to track the trajectory of balls in flight.[br]
[br]How can camera change its position as the ball changes its direction ?[br][br]Actually the camera does not change its position it is due to switching between the multiple cameras that the ball can be tracked easily. When the camera man catch the image then it all going to a monitor room and there is set some people to monitor the images and redirect to the main screen to broadcast on the channel. The image that captures the direction & movement of the ball to the best extent is displayed to us.[br]
