When you receive your mPIN, change it immediately.[br][br]Never use the following for your mPIN:[br][br]Your kids’ or loved ones’ date of birth or anniversary[br][br]Consecutive numbers like 1234 or 4321, 9876 or 6789[br][br]Same numbers like 1111 or 4444 or 0000[br][br]First or last 4 digits of your card number / mobile number[br][br]Same mPIN as of your mobile pin or password[br][br]Never share your mPIN with anyone not even with bank employees.[br][br]Avoid using the same mPIN for several different accounts. Once hackers have guessed one password, they’ll often try to see if it works on other accounts.[br][br]Memorize your PIN. Don’t write down your password or PIN anywhere especially not on your card.[br][br]Change your mPIN at regular intervals at least once in 60 days.[br][br]If you suspect that someone knows your PIN/Password, change it immediately.[br][br]Don’t send your password or PIN to anyone via email or text message.[br][br]Don’t say your password or PIN aloud in public where other people can hear you.[br][br]Don’t have your browser/mobile remember your card/account password. |
