According to a WABetaInfo report, the "Add to Facebook Story" is spotted in Android beta version 2.19.151. This suggests that the feature should be coming to stable version soon.[/h2][p]

[p]WhatsApp rolls out new features for Android as well as iOS users almost every other day. The Facebook instant messaging platform is currently testing two new features for Android users with the aim to make the chatting platform more interactive and interesting. The most interesting of the two upcoming features under testing is the one that is said to allow users share WhatsApp Status as Facebook stories at just a finger touch. Now, this is one feature that users have been waiting for quite some time now. This feature should be available for all soon. It is currently said to be in beta.

[p]According to WABetaInfo, a Twitter handle that announces the features the instant messaging platform works on, WhatsApp will be calling this new status sharing feature "Add to Facebook Story". Apparently, the messaging app is looking to add an "Add to Facebook Story" button so users can share their WhatsApp status on Facebook stories in just a click.

According to the report coming from WABetaInfo the "Add to Facebook Story" is spotted in Android beta version 2.19.151. However, later in the same report, WABetaInfo noted that for now the feature has been removed from WhatsApp beta for Android. So, right now the "Add to Facebook Story" button isn't available on beta.

[p]How will the "Add to Facebook Story" feature work?

[p]The report revealed that WhatsApp will add a new 'Add to Facebook Story' button somewhere next to the Status tab so that it's easy for the users to share the same to their Facebook stories. It must be noted that the 'Add to Facebook Story' button will work only if the Facebook app is installed in the user's device.

[p]The report has also revealed that the WhatsApp Status shared as Facebook Story will disappear after 24 hours similar to status on WhatsApp and stories on Facebook. With this feature, WhatsApp users will be able to share various multimedia files like pictures, GIFs, video, and also text message. The WhatsApp users will need to manually select the 'Add to Facebook Story' button to share the status on FB stories. It's not an automatic process.

[p]Alongside the 'Add to Facebook Story' button WhatsApp for Android beta is also spotted testing a feature called 'Share contact via QR Code' that will allow users share their contact details using QR code.
