[br][br]BMW's motorcycle division BMW Motorrad has launched BMW F850GS Adventure bike in India.[br][br]To recall, the bike was unveiled last November at the EICMA Show.[br][br]In India, it is available at Rs. 15.4 lakh (ex-showroom) and the bookings have already been started across all BMW Motorrad dealerships.[br][br]Here are the complete details about the new BMW F850GS.[br][br]Design[br][br]BMW F850GS: At a glance[br][br]The BMW F850GS features a new instrument panel with an analog tachometer, a multifunctional display, along with control lamps. The bike offers a 6.5 inch TFT screen for connectivity and navigational purposes.[br][br]With a kerb weight of 244kg and fuel capacity of 15-liter, the bike runs on the cross spoke wheels.[br][br]Moreover, it has a golden color coating on wheels and fork suspensions.[br][br]Under the hood[br][br]The BMW F850GS packs an 853cc liquid-cooled two-cylinder in-line engine which churns out 95PS of maximum power at 8,250rpm and a peak torque of 92Nm at 6,250rpm. Further, the motor comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and offers a top speed of 197kmph.[br][br]
[br][br]Safety & Control[br][br]BMW F850GS: On the road[br][br]The BMW F850GS comes with bridge-type steel frame chassis, 43mm telescopic fork suspension up front and rebound-stage damping adjustable suspension on the rear side.[br][br]For braking performance, the bike houses disc brakes on both wheels along with dual-channel ABS as well as traction control for better grip on the road.[br][br]Moreover, it offers two riding modes- Rain and Road.[br][br]
[br][br]And, what will be the pocket pinch?[br][br]The BMW F850GS has been priced at Rs. 15.4 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The company has already started bookings for the bike and will commence deliveries soon.
