Google has launched CallJoy -- a virtual agent who can manage the majority of incoming calls, sending only those which are necessary to employees.[br][br][br]
[br][br][br]Google On Wednesday announced the launch of CallJoy, an automated digital phone agent that can manage a small business's incoming calls. For small businesses, answering phone calls -- responding to store operations questions, making appointments, placing orders -- keeps the limited number of employees on the clock away from their duties. As a business becomes more successful, more time must be allocated to answering customer inquiries.[br][br]To respond to this issue, Google launched CallJoy yesterday -- a virtual agent who can manage the majority of incoming calls, sending only those which are necessary to employees.[br][br]The automated cloud-based operator can filter out spam calls, greet callers with custom messages, and provide basic and frequently-requested business information like hours of operation. If a customer wants to place an order or book an appointment, CallJoy will send a URL via text message to the caller, allowing them to complete their request online. All calls can be recorded for quality purposes, and the data used to track incoming call trends.[br][br]If the digital agent cannot fulfil a customer's request, the call will be forwarded to the business.
