[br][br]British automaker, MG Motors, has confirmed that its upcoming connected SUV will be launched in June, 2019. Based on the iSMART Next Gen platform, the vehicle shares the majority of its body panels with the the Baojun 530 SUV, and is poised to be the first internet-enabled automobile in India.[br][br]The SUV will feature a 48-volt hybrid engine, a 10.4-inch touch-enabled head unit and a voice-based assistant that can be activated with 'Hello MG'. Smart features will include the ability to use voice commands to control air conditioning, open and close windows and the sunroof, navigation, and more.[br][br]According to AutoCar magazine, the MG Hector is expected to be priced between Rs. 15-20 lakhs in India, which means it will have to fight it out against the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Jeep Compass. |
