[br][br]Over a billion users, this email service from Google called Gmail is something everyone is aware of. Gmail just turned 15 this year and brought with it some new features which can be used by users so as to improve their productivity. Introducing over a number of features and also added support for many languages. So to ease your working of Gmail, we have some tips and tricks and shortcuts we hope will become useful in your daily usage of Gmail.[br][br]With Google's enormous storage capacity, Gmail indexes hundreds of millions of emails every day. However, if you are one of those users who has accumulated thousands of emails over a period of years, don't fret. The best way out of this is to use Gmail's inbuilt search feature which you can use to search for specific emails by just using simple tags such as name or an attached keyword. [br][br]Scheduling emails is a new feature that has been added to Gmail. This new trick is neat and you can easily employ to use the service like a Pro. To use this, follow these steps. [br][br]Once the feature has been switched on, go to the compose mail box and write your mail.[br][br][ul][li]Once done composing your mail, click on the drop-down arrow on the send button and select "Schedule Send".[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]You will see a time selection tool where you can choose when you want to schedule the mail for delivery. Once the time and date are set, Gmail will then send the message at the scheduled time.[br][/li][/ul]Since the security of the email is in the sensitive nature of the service and considering it is liable to be used to exploit other linked service, the safety of your Gmail account is also very important. To keep your account secure use Gmails two-factor authentication which generates an OTP when you try logging in to your Gmail account. [br][br]You can use Undo Send which is another feature used to ensure you can go back and change any errors - something which life does not have. Using this, you can undo the sent command sent on an accidentally sent mail -- although only within the first 30 seconds of sending it. [br][br]To enable this, click on the settings button in the upper right-hand corner of your Gmail account. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu and check the box labelled "Enable Undo Send." You're then given the option to set a "send cancellation period" of either 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds.[br][br]Also, you can easily personalise your Gmail account. This is one cool tip that every Gmail user should make use of. By personalising you can add some colour to it and make dealing with Gmail a little more easier. Plus its also fun to show off your personalised Gmail account to colleagues passing by your station. [br][br]Now, we are on shortcuts.
