[br][br]If you want a 3D printer, there are dozens of fantastic options on the market. Choosing the right printer for you comes down to your requirements and budget, and that often means having to sacrifice something along the way. ButA1 is a new fused filament fabrication 3D printer launched via Kickstarter this week, designed to blend in at your home or workplace providing fast, accurate and quite 3D printing. The A1 has been created by a product developer and mechanical engineering Karl-Johan Regestam. So, without wasting your time let'stalk about A1 3D-Printer for use professional creators and designers now.[br][br][br]Technical Specification:[br][br]Printer size W D H: 320 x 280 x 340 mm[br][br]Build volume W D H: 240 x 180 x 240 mm[br][br]Print speed: 90 mm/s[br][br]Travel speed: 300 mm/s[br][br]Nozzle diameter: 0.25, 0.4, 0.8 mm[br][br]Resolution X Y Z: 12.5, 12.5, 2.5 micron[br][br]Extruder temp: 275 C[br][br]Heat bed temp: 60 C[br][br]Display: 4.3 inch touch[br][br]Connection: USB & Wi-Fi[br][br]Weight: 8 kg[br][br]Power supply: 230 V[br][br][br][br]
[br][br][br][br]Highlights:[br][br]● GANTRY DESIGN:[br][br]Relying on the new gantry and extruder design with extremely lightweight and rigid construction, together with a 32 bit ARM processor for fast calculations, A1 allows you to play around with the travel speed up to 300mm/s. The lightweight gantry is also able to handle a 90 mm/sprint speed and a6000 mm/s2 (second squared) acceleration. This is twice the speed and a four times higher acceleration than most common brands, making A1 a real time saver- especially when you print many components with a complex pattern.[br][br][br][br]
[br][br][br][br]● RELIABLE FEEDING:[br][br]To keep up with the printing speed, A1 is equipped with a dual gear feeder. These two geared wheels push the filament for reliable feeding. A quick release button on the side enables you to quickly swap for other filaments. The lightweight gantry system also makes A1 print quietly. The noise level is comparable to a modern dishwasher or a low conversation (50 DBA). This solution makes A1 super friendly to your home or work space. [br][br][br]● ENHANCED WORKFLOW:[br][br]A lot of iterations and testing was made to find a fast way to swap the hotend on A1 and on keeping the head lightweight and space efficient for the maximum printing area. The hot end is based on widely used parts. This solution makes it a breeze for you to swap for another nozzle size, or maintain the hot end.[br][br][br][br]
[br][br][br][br]● COMPLEX MODELS:[br][br]A1 is also ideal for experimenting with different complex models. Equipped with two integrated fans in the compact print head, A1 effectively cools of the hot filament and enables you to print details and overhangs.[br][br][br]● DIFFERENT FILAMENTS:[br][br]Feel free to use any popular filament on the market with a diameter of1.75 mm. A1 has been tested with the most common materials, such as PLA, SoftPLA, PBS, ABS, and TPU with success. There are a lot more materials to experiment with, and we will frequently update the web site with new printing profiles for the most requested materials.[br][br][br][br]
[br][br][br][br]● OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE AND WEBSITE:[br][br]A1 is compatible with a range of open source software, such as CURA, SLIC3R, Simplify 3D, for easy slicing and producing of G-code. And you do have to be an expert, the company will provide settings for the most frequently used slicer software and materials. Or design your model in, for example, SketchUp, free cad or blender, save as STL. Open your STL file in the preferred splicer software. Load the provided settings from our website into the slicer software. Save and transfer the printer through Wi-Fi or USB and hit the print button. A website will be available soon with profiles for different materials to download, as well as tips and tricks for different software.[br][br][br]Source: internet[br] |
