[br][br]Creators of the popular browser, Firefox, have announced that they are building a paid version of the browser which will be launched later in the year. The information was revealed by Mozilla CEO Chris Beard who said a paid version of Firefox could include a free VPN and cloud storage.[br][br]While there isn't any information on how much a paid Firefox would cost, what has been revealed that it will include a VPN service with a limited amount of data. [br][br]If it does launch the application, it won't be the first time that Mozilla has tried its hand at VPNs. Previously, Mozilla had launched a paid VPN service in partnership with ProtonVPN to offer its users a $10/month subscription.[br][br]Earlier, Mozilla had rolled out an update that blocks websites which are known to mine cryptocurrencies and indulge in fingerprinting. Mozilla's had announced a new anti-tracking feature for its Firefox browser which allows users to block fingerprinting and cryptomining sites. Mozilla had partnered with Disconnect to block fingerprinting and cryptomining scripts and based on a compiled list of domains that had been collated over time. [br][br]The new feature makes Firefox the first major browser for Windows to offer fingerprint protection after Apple's Safari which started a campaign against pixel and fingerprint tracking. The service is important because it adds an extra and very important layer of protection for your browser to stop marketing firms from gathering data on you.
