If you don’t want a record of web pages that you’ve visited using Chrome, you can delete all, or some of your browsing history. Deleting your browsing history will take effect on all devices where you’ve turned sync on in Chrome. [br][br]
[br][br][strong]See your history[/strong][br][br]On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.[br][br][ul][li]At the top-right, tap More > History.[br][br][/li][/ul]f your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap History.[br][br][ul][li]To visit a site, tap the entry.[br][br][/li][/ul]o open the site in a new tab, touch and hold the entry. At the top-right, tap More > [strong]Open in new tab[/strong].[br][ul][li][br][/li][/ul]o copy the site, touch and hold the entry. At the top-right, tap More > [strong]Copy link[/strong].[br][br][strong]Clear your history[/strong][br][br][ul][li]On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]At the top-right, tap More > [strong]History[/strong].[br][br][/li][/ul]f your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap History.[br][br][ul][li]Tap [strong]Clear browsing data[/strong].[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Next to 'Time range', select how much history you want to delete. To clear everything, tap [strong]All time[/strong].[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Check 'Browsing history'. Untick any other data that you don't want to delete.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap [strong]Clear data[/strong].[br][/li][/ul]To delete your search history, learn about clearing activity saved in My Activity.[br][br][strong]Delete an item from your history[/strong][br][br]You can delete certain parts of your history. To search for something specific, at the top-right, tap Search.[br][br][ul][li]On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]At the top-right, tap More > [strong]History[/strong].[br][br][/li][/ul]f your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap History.[br][br][ul][li]Find the entry that you want to delete.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]To the right, tap Remove.[br][/li][/ul]To delete multiple items, touch and hold an entry. Select other entries that you want to delete. Then, at the top-right, tap Remove.[br][br][strong]Remove an image from New Tab page[/strong][br][br]To see the sites that you visit most, open a new tab. To remove an image, touch and hold it. Then, select [strong]Remove[/strong].[br][br][strong]What your history page shows[/strong][br][br]Your History page shows the web pages that you've visited on Chrome in the last 90 days. It doesn’t store Chrome pages that you’ve visited such as chrome://settings, pages that you've visited in Incognito mode or pages that you've already deleted from your browsing history.[br][br]If you're signed in to Chrome and syncing your history, then your History page shows web pages that you’ve visited across all your synced devices for much longer. |
