We all know Earth is revolving round the sun, then why do we have night instead of day always?

We know that Earth and other planets revolve round the sun in their own orbit.[br][br][ul][li]Earth also rotates on its own axis while revolving round the sun. This means our planet rotates on its axis and also revolves round the sun simultaneously[br][/li][/ul][br]

[br][br]As a result of this Earth does not get continuous light from the sun. Earth is spherical in shape. So the half part of the planet which is facing towards the sun gets light and it is called day to that particular region and the other half will be facing away from the sun and it is called night to that region and vice versa[br][br]

[br]This means when countries such as India faces the sun and has a bright day, the areas such as other side of the globe such as America are immersed in complete darkness.[br]source : rozbuzz.com[br][br][br]
