[br][br]Hyundai has launched its first-ever compact SUV, the Hyundai Venue, in India today at a starting price of Rs. 6.5 lakh.[br][br]The latest offering, available in four trims and three engine options, will go on sale in the country starting today.[br][br]The key highlights of the Venue include its sportier design, tech-laden cabin, and a few segment-first features.[br][br]Here's our roundup.[br][br]Styling[br][br]Hyundai Venue: At a glance[br][br]The Hyundai Venue looks similar to its elder sibling, the Creta, featuring a cascading front grille, front and rear skid plates, large roof rails, and an electric sunroof.[br][br]The subcompact SUV also boasts of a segment-first projector fog lamps along with high-mounted turn indicators, LED light fitments.[br][br]The car will be available in Denim Blue, Lava Orange, Deep Forest and three Dual Tone options.[br][br]
[br][br]Interiors[br][br]Inside the cabin[br][br]The five-seater Hyundai Venue features an all-black cabin with chrome accents and a multi-function steering wheel.[br][br]The car is also touted to be India's "first connected SUV" thanks to the company's BlueLink connectivity system which offers features such as geo-fencing, speed alerts, SOS, and panic notifications.[br][br]The Venue also gets a segment-first 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple Carplay..[br][br]Engine[br][br]Power and performance[br][br]
[br][br]The Hyundai Venue's 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, paired to a segment-first 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, churns out 118bhp of power and a peak torque of 172Nm.[br][br]The 1.2-liter petrol engine, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, produces 82bhp of power and 114.7Nm of torque.[br][br]The third 1.4-liter diesel engine, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, generates 89bhp of power and a peak torque of 220Nm.[br][br]Safety[br][br]Hyundai Venue: On the road[br][br]The Hyundai Venue provides power locks for doors with central locking, parking sensors, and anti-theft provisions.[br][br]The car offers ABS along with EBD and traction control for better grip on the road. It is also equipped with crash sensors to avoid road accidents.[br][br]Importantly, the cabin features driver and passenger airbags as well as child safety locks.[br][br]Pricing and availability[br][br]The Hyundai Venue is offered in four trims - E, S, SX, and SX(O).
