[br]New Delhi, May 29: With 4G data consumption increasing significantly, the telecom industry is in a constant competition to cater the users with offering the best prepaid and postpaid mobile plans. Hotspot devices have become popular as users look to get connectivity on devices such as laptops and tablets while on the move.[br][br]A new prepaid plan for the 4G Hotspot users is in the market. Airtel is offering 1.5GB data per day with a validity of 84 days.[br][br]Earlier, Airtel announced a new rental plan for its Hotspot customers, where one had to pay Rs. 399 every month.[br][br]However, that plan has been replaced now.[br][br]Priced at Rs 499, the postpaid plan is valid for a month and comes with 75GB data. There is no daily limit, and one can download all 75GB in one go. A user can continue with unlimited downloads, at reduced speeds of 80kbps after the plan gets exhausted.[br][br]Both plans can be availed through the Airtel website where one has to pay Rs 1,500 for the 4G Hotspot device separately. The earlier Rs 399 plan offered 50GB data, and after exhausting the data, speed would lower down to 80kbps.[br][br]The prepaid plan offers 1.5GB daily and comes with a validity of 84 days. Users can download up to 126GB data within the validity period. A user can continue with unlimited downloads, at reduced speeds of 80kbps after the plan gets exhausted.[br][br]The 4G hotspot device comes with a 1,500mAh battery which can offer up to 6 hours of battery life and can connect up to 10 devices at the same time.[br][br] |
