[h3]Hey Xfans ,[span style="font-weight: bold;"][/span][/h3][br]We live in amazing times. Driverless cars, drones delivering packages and chatbots taking our fast food orders. In fact, this entire “thing” of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) is now being called the next industrial revolution. And it does not come without a lot of fear about a large workforce losing its jobs and means of making a living. [br]So we are talking about Robotics, which can help us in performing mostly every task without getting tired. So,lets get started and know more about Robotics.[br][br][h3][strong]What is Robotics?[/strong][/h3][br]
[br][br][strong]Robotics [/strong]is just an interdisciplinary branch of different types of engineering and science that includes information engineering, computer science, and other.Robotics also deals with the construction, design, and application of robots. These technologies are being used to develop machines that can substitute for human and replicate human actions. They can be of any form, shape which means they have all kind of mechanical construction that is designed to acheive desired task.[br][br][h3][strong]What do Robots do?[/strong][/h3][br]
[br][br]A robot is ideal for going into a building that has a possible bomb. Robots are also used in factories to build things like cars, candy bars, and electronics. Robots are now used in medicine, for military tactics, for finding objects underwater and to explore other planets. Robotic technology has helped people who have lost arms or legs. Robots are a great tool to help mankind. [br]Most robots today are used to do repetitive actions or jobs considered too dangerous for humans. [br][br][h3][strong]How does a robot works?[/strong][/h3][br]
[br][br]To make a robot work,it is involved in three distinct phases:[br][br][strong]-Perception[/strong][br][br][strong]-Processing[/strong][br][br][strong]-Action[/strong][br][br]The Sensors provide the information to the robot about the environment .The information provided is then processed to be transmitted,so as to calculate the proper signals to the motors(a.k.a actuators) which then moves the mechanical.[br][br][h3][strong]So Why Use Robots?[/strong][/h3][br]
[br][br]The reason robots are used is that it is often cheaper to use them over humans, easier for robots to do some jobs and sometimes the only possible way to accomplish some tasks! Robots can explore inside gas tanks, inside volcanoes, travel the surface of Mars or other places too dangerous for humans to go where extreme temperatures or contaminated environments exist.[br][br]Robots can also do the same thing over and over again without getting bored. [br][br][h3][strong]Robot Limitations[/strong][/h3][br]
[br][br]Unlike in the movies, Robots are unable to think or make decisions; they are only tools to help us get things done. Robots are machines with programed movements that allow them to move in certain directions or sequences. Artificial intelligence has given robots more ability to process information and to “learn.” But, they are still limited by the information that they are given and the functions they are given to perform.[br][br][br][div style="text-align: center;"]Source - [a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robotics" target="_blank" style="text-align: left;"]Wikipedia[/a] And Science Trek[/div][p style="text-align: center;"][br] |
