An Android Q Beta user witnessed an Android system update rollout via the Play Store on a Google Pixel device. Android Q has traces of this feature in its coding.[br][br]
[br][br]The current version of Android is a highly improved iteration of the world's most popular mobile platform. The latest Android versions have made it extremely easy to live with Android smartphones and if you have a Google Pixel device, then you are possibly getting the best Android experience with all the smart additions. The upcoming Android Q is expected to make the experience even better and Google could be changing the way updates are delivered to handsets.[br][br]The latest report from 9To5Google suggests that Android Q could deliver system updates via the Google Play Store. A Google Pixel user using the Android Beta 2 on his device has stated on Reddit that his device received an Android system update that came with a notification pretty similar to how app updates are notified on Android. The user wrote that the update was installed on its own and during installation, the device rebooted itself automatically. The user didn't see any proof of the update anywhere after the installation was completed.[br][br]While there's no official announcement made by Google so far in this regard, it seems that Google is testing this method of distributing Android updates on a smaller scale.[br][br]With Android Q, Google is taking several steps to make the user experience on Android more seamless. Android Q's biggest feature so far has been known to be the enhanced privacy features. Google is now limiting access to location as well as other parameters of the device for all third-party apps. A new dark mode is expected to reduce battery drain for a device with OLED displays and smart UI tweaks have made Android Q already offer a more pleasant user experience.[br][br]Google is expected to release all the information about Android Q in the Google I/O 2019 in May 2019. Currently, Android Q is in beta test and if you are willing to try out the latest build of Android, all you need to do is register for the beta program.
