You might be part of several WhatsApp groups which share regular messages, photos, videos and more, however, there would have been a time when you decided to leave a particular WhatsApp group.[br][br]The reason could be anything, be it the irritating conversations, unnecessary data, and storage consumption or even unwanted Good Morning, religious or motivational messages. But things get even worse when someone adds you back to the WhatsApp group that you have just left. For these kinds of situations, WhatsApp is bringing the group invite feature to the platform through which, other users will need to take your permission before adding you to a WhatsApp group.[br][br]WhatsApp Group chats to become more secure and less irritating with this new feature: Here’s how[br][br][ul][li]The new WhatsApp feature will be available at WhatsApp Settings ] Account ] Privacy ] Groups.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]You will be able to choose who can add you to a new WhatsApp group. The options will include Everyone, My Contacts, and Nobody.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]If you choose the Nobody option, no one will be able to add you in a WhatsApp group without your permission.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Even the Group admin won’t be able to add anyone without their permission.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]A new chat will be created which will have the permission to add you in a WhatsApp group with two options i.e. Accept or Decline.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]The WhatsApp Group Invitation will expire in 72 days.[br][/li][/ul]For those who are wondering how the WhatsApp Group Invitation feature will help them, then it is worth noting that media files shared on some WhatsApp groups might be taking a lot of storage and data from your device. You might finally decide to leave the group just to know that you have once again been added by another user and the story continues. This is when the WhatsApp Group Invitation feature will come in handy as other WhatsApp users will have to take your permission in order to add you in a WhatsApp group.[br][br]That said, the WhatsApp Group Invitation feature is still at the very early stage of development and it has not been made available to all Android beta users. However, we do expect that this new WhatsApp feature will be made available for all beta users soon.[br][br]
