In a recent launch, TVS Apache RR 310 bike has received a new variant which has been priced at ₹2.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new variant, which is ₹3,000 more expensive than the regular RR 310, comes equipped with Race Tuned (RT) slipper clutch and a new paint scheme--Phantom black. Apart from this, there are no changes to the flagship bike in TVS Motor's stable. Talking about his new variant, K N Radhakrishnan, Director & CEO, TVS Motor Company, said, " We are excited to introduce the Race Tuned (RT) slipper clutch on the TVS Apache RR 310 and I am confident that our existing and new customers will appreciate this performance upgrade.[br][br][br]
[br][br]It is to be noted that the super-premium motorcycle, which is seen as an ultimate track weapon, originates from our racing pedigree and boasts of industry-first features. Equipping it with this technology is a natural progression for the bike. We also want to expand this experience to our existing TVS Apache RR 310 customers, who will appreciate the enhanced racing dynamics. The new styling upgrades accentuate the racing stance of the motorcycle and create customer delight."[br][br]TVS Apache RR 310 New variant Apart from the addition of Phanton Black colour to the existing Racing Red paint scheme, the new variant of TVS Apache RR 310 looks visually same to the standard RR 310 bike. So, it retains the silhouette of a fully-faired bike and gets sharp styling with a mass-forward stance. Talking about the heart of the matter, the new variant also draws power from the 312.2 cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers 33.52 bhp and 27.3 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox but with slipper clutch on the new variant, which should make for quick upshift and down shifts for a more spirited ride. This slipper clutch is also available as an accessory and can be retro-fitted to the already sold TVS Apache RR 310 bikes.[br][br]However, it is worth mention here that in terms of features, this bike also gets the vertically laid-out widescreen digital instrument cluster which, apart from necessary readouts like speedometer, tachometer, trip meter, also comes equipped with a lap timer, race diagnostics system, speed recorder, and launch time recorder. The new variant, just like its regular sibling, also gets dual-channel ABS for enhanced rider safety. TVS Apache RR 310 RT slipper clutch variant is available at select dealerships across the country.
