[br][br]Today we would be looking into a brief discussion in WhatsApp status...[br][br]Using Status[br][br]WhatsApp Status allows you to share text, photos, videos and animated GIFs that disappear after 24 hours. In order to send and receive status updates to and from your contacts, both you and your contacts must have each other's phone numbers saved in your address book.[br][br]To view someone's status update, tap the Status tab and select a contact's status. To reply to one of your contact's status updates, tap Reply at the bottom of the screen while viewing their status.[br][br][br]Adding your own status update[br][br]To add a status update:[br][br][ul][li]Go to the Status screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Choose between:[br][br][/li][/ul]amera to take a new photo or record a new video, or choose an existing one from the picker. You can also add a caption and personalize your status updates by adding emoji, text and freehanded drawings to your photos and videos.[br][ul][li][br][/li][/ul]ext to compose a written status update. You can write what you'd like to share, pick a background color and a font of your choice.[br][br][ul][li]Tap Send .[br][/li][/ul]Changing your status privacy[br][br]Your status updates can't be seen by people whose numbers are not saved in your phone's address book. You can choose to share your status updates with all of your contacts, or with selected contacts only. By default, your status updates are set to be shared with all your contacts.[br][br]To change your status privacy:[br][br][ul][li]Go to the Status screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap More options ] Status Privacy.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Choose who can see your status updates.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap DONE.[br][/li][/ul]Note: Changes to your privacy settings won't affect status updates that you've already sent.[br][br]If you've disabled Read Receipts, you won't be able to see who's viewed your status update. If a contact has disabled Read Receipts, you won't be able to see that they've viewed your status update.[br][br]Manually deleting your status update[br][br]Status updates automatically disappear after 24 hours. You can also manually delete your status update, which removes it from your contacts' phones.[br][br]To manually delete your status update:[br][br][ul][li]Go to the Status screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap the three dots next to My status ] tap and hold your status update.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap Trash ] Delete.[br][/li][/ul]Forwarding your status update[br][br]To forward your status update to a chat:[br][br][ul][li]Go to the Status screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap the three dots next to My status.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Next to the status update you wish to forward, tap Forward.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Choose from Frequently contacted, Recent chats, Other contacts or use Search to look for a contact or group, then tap Send.[br][/li][/ul]Alternatively, to forward multiple status updates to a chat:[br][br][ul][li]Go to the Status screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap the three dots next to My status.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap and hold a status update ] Tap the status updates you wish to forward ] Tap Forward in the top-right corner of your screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Choose from Frequently contacted, Recent chats, Other contacts or use Search to look for a contact or group, then tap Send.[br][/li][/ul]Muting a status update[br][br]You can mute the status updates of a particular contact so they won't appear at the top of the status list anymore.[br][br]To mute a status update:[br][br][ul][li]Go to the Status screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap and hold your contact's status update.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap Mute.[br][/li][/ul]To unmute a status update:[br][br][ul][li]Go to the Status screen.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Scroll down to see the Muted statuses and tap and hold your contact's status update.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Tap Unmute.[br][/li][/ul]so what feature do you want WhatsApp to add to the status...[br][br]for me I want the features on how to auto download status directly from WhatsApp and also for the WHATSAPP STATUS timer to be above 30sec...[br]because that's what's makes most users to view GB WHATSAPP and other modded WhatsApp am option over the official WhatsApp...[br][br]so what's the feature you want them to add???[br][br]let's discuss here[br][br]#prince kiah[br]Infinix moderator Nigeria[br]
