[br][br]Manipuri guy finds security bug in Whatsapp and Facebook rewards him with money and hall of fame[br]According to a PTI report, Facebook has honoured and rewarded the Manipuri guy for coming across a WhatsApp bug that could've violated any user's privacy -- definitely a nightmare averted.[br][br]How did Sougaijam help make WhatsApp -- which has over 22 crore active users in India -- safer? Similar to the Kerala student, he found a bug during a WhatsApp voice call, which would allow caller to switch to video call without alerting the receiver.[br][br]This bug obviously could've have caused huge privacy violation of millions of WhatsApp users, that's why Facebook (WhatsApp's parent company) decided to celebrate Sougaijam's alertness.[br][br][br]
