[br]HIGHLIGHTS[br][br][ul][li]Trump administration is considering lifting the trade ban on Huawei.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]All US companies will be allowed to sell products to Huawei after the trade agreement happens.[br][/li][/ul][ul][li]Huawei will be able to use Google's Android OS and ARM-designed chipsets.[br][/li][/ul]The Huawei ban by the US created quite a lot of stir in the technology sector last month. The Trump administration included Huawei in the dreaded entity list after it considered doing business with Huawei could lead to a matter of national security. As a result, Huawei not only was looking at restrictions to sell its products in the US but also not able to purchase anything from the US companies. And that essentially meant Huawei couldn't manufacture a phone or laptop on its own. However, it seems that Huawei's troublesome days could come to an end.[br][br]After the US issued a ban on Huawei, many US companies were unable to do any business with Huawei, which at the moment is the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. This also posed risks of incurring losses for these US companies. Therefore, the US government has been pressed to reconsider the trade ban with Huawei. And as expected, the Trump administration seems to have figured out a solution to the problem.[br][br]Thanks...{:16_21:}{:16_21:}{:16_21:} |
