I'm using Hot 6pro and the xhide can't hide app and not functioning as it supposed

Just use a third party app for that function. Xhide on the hot 6 doesn't hide apps as well as other Infinix devices running android Oreo version

You can on hide your files with the xhide not apps but hide your apps, go-to an empty space on your desktop and swipe up with two fingers and the hide  apps feature will show, just like the screenshot shown in the comment
