[br][p][br][h2]What is screen pinning ?[/h2][p][br][p]Screen pinning allows you to pin (lock) the screen to a certain app. This is one of the useful new features.[p][br][p]In short, screen pinning let you you enable your Android device to only show a specific app’s screen. The device is [strong]temporally[/strong] locked in this specific app, and you cannot access any other apps.[p][br][p]Screen pinning is different to[a href="http://galaxys5guide.com/samsung-galaxy-s5-features-explained/galaxy-s5-kids-mode" target="_blank"] [/a]kids mode in Samsung devices. Kids mode is more comparable to guest mode in Android Lollipop.[p][br][h2]When you may need screen pinning?[/h2][p][br][p]Screen pinning has been anticipated for long time. At least, some Android users have expected some features similar to this.[p][br][p]In the following scenarios, you will find this screen pinning feature is extremely useful.[p][br][ul][li]When playing games, you may accidentally tap the home button or back button. You need scroll down to Advanced section to find the screen pinning as shown below.[p][br][p][br][p]
[br][p][br][h3]Step 2: Tap screen pinning[/h3][p][br][p]Tap [strong]Screen pinning[/strong] as shown above to proceed.[p][br][h3]Step 3: Drag the switch from left to right[/h3][p][br][p]After tapping [strong]Screen pinning [/strong]in the previous step, you will get the screen pinning setting page.[p]The only setting is the switch as shown below. You can turn on or turn off this feature. No other settings.[p]When it is off, you can drag the switch from left to right to turn on screen pinning.[div][/div][p]If it is on (indicated by the light blue color), you can drag the switch from right to left to turn off screen pinning in Android Lollipop as shown below.[p][br][h3]Step 4: Screen pinning is now on.[/h3][p][br][p]After you drag the switch to right side, you are ready to use your Android Lollipop screen pinning.[p][br][h2]How to use screen pinning?[/h2][p][br][p]To use screen pinning, you may follow these steps.[p][br][h3]Step 1: Start the app you want to pin[/h3][p][br][p]You need start the app which you want to pin to the screen.[p]You can use literally any apps on the phone.[p][br][h3]Step 2: Tap recent button[/h3][p][br][p]Once the app is started, you can tap the [strong]recent button[/strong] as shown below (red).[p][br][p]
