Sometimes we don't think much about little things which are very important for daily life same like that in this post you will get to know that why some earphones and headphones jacks have 1, 2, or 3 rings.[br][br][br]

[br][br][br]It is used for only mic purpose means if jack has only 1 ring then it is only for recording voice or only for mic it can't be used for listening music because if you will use it for listening music then you will hear music only in your one ear not in both of your ear.[br][br]2 Ring Jack[br][br][br]

[br]It is used for listening music means you can listen music in both of your ear by using this type of lead but you can't use it for mic purpose because it is only suitable for using listening.[br][br]3 Ring Jack[br][br][br]

[br][br]This type of lead can be used both for listening music and as a mic because it has 3 rings, 1st ring is for left ear 2nd ring is for right ear and 3rd ring is for mic.
