[br][br]All smartphone users, both casual and high end users are forever in search of longer battery life. The fast charging technology is one that keeps our devices charged up as quickly as possible, but overtime we notice a deterioration in our batteries and it doesn’t seem to last long compared to when we bought them.
[br]
[br]This can’t be controlled because no battery is meant to live forever. But there are things you can do to preserve your battery life.
[br]
[br]Partial Charging: [br][br]Do not adopt the idea of completely draining your battery to 0 and start recharging from scratch. The idea of partial charging involves charging your device when it hits 30% to about 80%, this helps to prolong battery life. Small but regular top ups of your battery is better than a full cycle charge.
[br]
[br]Avoid idle charging: [br][br]The idea of “I will charge my phone overnight” is a common habit but it is not recommended because continuous tickle charge can reduce your battery stability and in the long run can cause system-wide malfunctions and reboots.
[br]
[br]Gaming or watching videos while charging: [br][br]This habit should be avoided because playing games or watching videos while charging distort charging cycles. You might notice that although your device is plugged and charging your battery discharges instead of charging. When charging leave your device idle most of the time.
[br]
[br]Keep your device within the right temperature: [br][br]Keeping your device’s temperature right is another way of increasing battery longevity. High temperatures stress the battery and make it lose capacity far more quickly than when kept at lower temperatures.
[br]
[br]We hope these tips will help to maximize your battery life.
