From its humble beginnings, the application has been improved with the addition of a number of features that have added to the functionality of the device. Here's what the new feature brings with it.
[p][br][p]
[br][p][br][p]WhatsApp is one of the most loved platforms in the world and that too for good reason. The application brings with it a number of features that make it extremely convenient to use and add to its features that make it faster than any other instant messaging platform out there. [br][p][br][p]However, the company could be about to make the platform even better as it is about to fix one of the biggest problems that users have faced with the platform. [p]As per WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta for Android 2.19.173 is bringing with it status recipients details, when you take a photo to send![p][br][p]Now, what does it mean? Simply put, lesser chance of users accidentally sending their pictures to a wrong contact while using WhatsApp. With the platform bumped to v2.19.173, users will now see a list of names before sending the images or videos to their contacts or groups. The new feature as such will allow users to double check before sending images to their contacts. [br]As the WABetaInfo explains, this new feature works for both individuals contacts and groups.[p]Interestingly, however, this feature on beta has only been announced for Android right now with WhatsApp not announcing any plans for bringing it to Android. However, with the company bringing it to beta on Android and thereby hinting that it will soon come to stable builds, the feature could also very soon be seen on iOS devices. [p][br][p]For now, we have no clarity on the same, but the company is likely working on a similar feature for iOS users right now and as such the feature should arrive on iOS app in the coming weeks.
