[br][br]No need to knock on the door of your neighbour to ask about the nearest store or get suggestions about the place you have just shifted in, Google's Neighbourly app will help you out. The local sharing information app was introduced last year across all cities in India. It was initially announced to help you interact with your neighbour and ask questions from them regarding the vicinity of your area. Now, the app has received a new update that brings the ability to post pictures, create events, polls and share tips with the neighbour. [br][br]With the new update, you can now share photos of the delicious food you had at a newly opened cafe, share pictures of local attractions such as a nearby park, cinema hall or a shopping mall, invite your neighbours to watch the live screening of upcoming cricket match, create an event and get inputs with "Create Polls" feature and lastly update them with "Share Tips" feature on any accident nearby or hazards and repair happening on the roads. [br][br]Additionally, there is a "Search feature" as well in the Google Neighbourly app that will enable you to search for the specific query or information that you are looking for, much faster than before. There is a "Neighbourhood Challenge" feature too that brings puzzles in the app randomly from time to time that you can play with your neighbours and then vote for the best contributor.[br][br][br]
[br][br][br]How to post on Google Neighbourly app[br][br]To post on the Neighbourly app, you will be required to first update the app to the latest version and tap on the ‘Post' icon available on the top right corner. A dialogue box will then be displayed on the screen from where you can choose to either post a Photo, create a poll, ask a question, create an event, and give a note.[br][br]The update with version 1.0.30.2 has been released to Android smartphone in the country and is available to download for free via Google Play store.[br][br]Source : timesnownews. com |
