The majority of Premiership referees receive a basic annual salary of £38,500 and an additional £1,150 in match fees for every game officiated.[br][br]

[br]However, three referees receive a higher basic wage than the rest: Howard Webb, Mark Atkinson and Mark Clattenburg. Webb is involved in additional UEFA and FIFA games and is paid £120,000 annually. Atkinson and Clattenburg both officiate additional UEFA matches and receive annual wages of £85,000 and £75,000, respectively.
